The Gilshrat Channel was launched on YouTube back in 2006. The channel was a way for me to share my love of model trains, steam power, and history. Since creating the channel, I have made a host of different types of videos; product reviews, how to videos, places I’ve visited, and event coverage. In 2014, I became a member of the Jackson, Pontiac & St. Clair Model Railroad Club. At that time, I started making videos for the club and posting them to my channel. Those videos were eventually moved over to a new YouTube channel made specifically for the club. In 2017, I moved to Japan to teach English. While there, this channel began focusing mostly on trains and model railroading in Japan. When, I returned to the USA in 2022 I picked up where I had left off and returned to my HO PRR trains, albeit on a new layout.

No. 78: Old Car Festival
Last September I went to an awesome vintage car show at the Henry Ford. It featured cars from before 1935. I know its not trains, but I did say this channel is for anything mechanical and old, and vintage cars fit that description!
